Ugly and beautifying according to the law and the purpose, and whoever says that beauty and ugliness are for the same thing as beauty and ugliness, he is a person of apparent ignorance. [ Chapter: The necessity of knowing God ] Then he said, if the obligation to know God and other conditions of harm is related to avoiding it in the future, then the obligation is not valid based on reason because it is not sensible. [ Chapter: The Sending of Messengers ] Then he said, if the mind is independent of itself in a matter, and in a matter it cannot be independent, then there must be an independent guide to it, so why did the sending of messengers become permissible, and that they are the most knowledgeable of creation regarding goals and paths? [ Chapter: Confirming the message of a specific Messenger ] Then he said, “If it were permissible for a liar to come with what the truthful one brought, the facts would be reversed, power would be replaced by inability, and lying would be based on the Presence of Glory. All of this is impossible and the goal of misguidance.
