In this section, many reasonable facts are arranged from the point of view of lineage, not from the point of view of concrete existence, for the essence of truth is one in terms of what it is as an entity. Then, as we know of our existence, lack, and ability, we must have [Page 323 of the Cairo edition] It is probable that we rely on it, and that that basis must require our existence from Him in different proportions. The Lawgiver used the beautiful names for them, so He called them from His being a speaker on the necessary level of His divine existence, which it is not permissible for Him to participate in, for He is one God, and there is no god other than Him. < /p [ The meeting of the names in the presence of the named and the manifestation of their rulings ] So I say after this report regarding the beginning of this matter and the influence and weight in the possible world that the names I gathered in the presence of the Named and looked into its facts and meanings, and sought the manifestation of its rulings so that its objects would be distinguished by their effects. For the Creator, who is the One who determines, knows, administers, separates, creates, shapes, sustains, gives life, causes death, inheritor, and gives thanks, and all the divine names looked within themselves and did not see a created being, nor a manager, nor a detailer, nor a formator, nor a provider, so they said, “How is the work to be done?” These objects appear in which our rulings appear, and our authority becomes apparent, so the divine names sought by some facts are resorted to.
