It is God's prison in the Hereafter in which the obstructive ones and the polytheists will be imprisoned. It is a dwelling place for these two groups, and the disbelievers and the hypocrites and those who commit major sins among the believers. God Almighty said, “And We make Hell a confinement for the disbelievers.” Then he will come out with intercession from those mentioned and with divine gratitude from whomever the divine text came about. And Hell is called Hell because of the distance of its bottom. It is said, “The Well of Hell” if it is far from the bottom. It contains hot and cold days, in which there is cold at its extreme and hot at its extreme, and between its top and bottom there are seventy-five hundred years [ Does Was Hell created or not yet created? ] And the people disagreed about its creation, whether it was created yet or not, and the disagreement is well-known regarding it, and each one of the two groups uses as evidence what they went to with what he sees as evidence for him, and they also disagreed about Paradise. As for us and our companions, the people of revelation and definition. They are created, not created. As for our saying, “created,” it is like a man who wanted to build a house, so he erected all of its walls containing it privately. It is said that he built a house, and when he entered it, he saw nothing but a wall surrounding a space and a square. Then after that, he builds its houses according to the purposes of those living in them, from houses, rooms, basements, halls, storerooms, and what should be. It contains what the resident wants
