He kept repeating it to me until I memorized it. Then the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said to me when he praised the Ansar, write it in bold script and carry it on Thursday night to the soil of this which you call the grave of the woman. You will find there a person named Hamid, so pay him praise. When this seer told me about that, may God grant him success, I made the poem of my time. Without thinking, without thinking, and without being discouraged, the poem was handed over to him, and he wrote that when he came to the grave of the woman, he reached it after the last supper. He said, “So I saw a man at the grave, and he said to me, ‘First of all, you are Yahya, who came from so-and-so and called me.’ He said, and I said to him, ‘Yes.’ He said, ‘So where is the poem that he praised the Ansar about?’” The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, commanded, so I said, “Here I have it,” so I handed it to him. He approached the candle to recite the poem, but I did not see him reciting that line. So I said to him, “Do you command me to recite it to you?” He said, “Yes,” so I recited it to him, and this is the text of the poem Ibn Thabit, of whom I am proud, said *** The poverty of speech and the emergence of poetry The passion of asceticism for my frying pan and my shrines*** Maawali and Mashari are in tears.
