It is not valid for it to have only one purpose, and it has been proven that the purpose is different, so each purpose must have a special manifestation, which is the same as the manifestation of the other, for divine breadth gives that nothing is repeated in existence, and this is what the sect and people have relied on in the confusion of a new creation. He says Sheikh Abu Talib al-Makki, the author of Qut al-Qulub, and other men of God Almighty. Indeed, God Almighty has never manifested Himself in one form to two people, nor in one form twice, and for this reason the effects in the world differed, and His expression was expressed with contentment and anger. [ The manifestations differed only because of the difference in laws ] And our saying: The manifestations differed only because of the differences in laws, for every law is a path leading to Him, Glory be to Him, and it is different, so the manifestations must differ just as they differ. The gifts you will not see, the Almighty, if He appears to this nation in the Resurrection, and among them are its hypocrites, and their views on the Sharia have differed, so each diligent person follows a special law that is his way to God, and for this reason the schools of thought differed, and every law was in one Sharia, and God has decided that on the tongue of His Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, among us, so the manifestations differed. Without a doubt, every sect believed in God once upon a time when He revealed to them something other than it.
