He has it in himself, but he is not pleased, even if he was pleased in the outward appearance and brought in himself what he brought from the universes of family, children, and companions from the world of this world and the world of the afterlife, and he brought the angels in his mind, then he was not pleased in his recitation, nor was he among those who mentioned God in himself due to lack of occasion, for if the servant mentions God in himself None of the created beings has knowledge of what is in the Creator’s soul when his servant mentions him. Likewise, the servant should be in what he confides in, for in his prayer he speaks only to his Lord in the time of his recitation, glorifications, and supplications. Likewise, if he mentions him in public, outwardly and inwardly, then in his outward sense it is clear, but in his inwardness it is not present. With him in himself are among the created beings, and it is what he recites aloud in prayer, glorifications, and supplications

Then there is nothing in acts of worship that attaches the servant to the positions of those who are close to him, which is the highest position of God’s saints, such as an angel, a messenger, a prophet, a saint, and a believer, except prayer. God Almighty said, “And prostrate and draw near.” In this case, God boasts about Him to those who are close to His angels, and that is because He says to them, “O my angels, I am.” I brought you near from the beginning and made you among the elite of My angels, and this is My servant, I placed between him and the place of nearness many veils and great obstacles, such as psychological purposes, sensual desires, and the management of family, money, children, servants, and companions.
