And similar to that, the laws are all Wahbi sciences, and whoever has acquired knowledge, he grants what is not a Sharia, a small group of saints, including Al-Khidr, on the designation, for he said from Himself, and what we know from the prophets, peace be upon them, Adam, Elias, Zechariah, Yahya, Jesus, Idris, and Ishmael, even though it was attained by all the prophets, peace be upon them, but what we have mentioned from them. Except for those whom we have been identified with and they have been named for us from the aspect from which we take from God Almighty, that is why we have called them these and have not mentioned others. As for the Almighty’s saying, “And you have been given of knowledge only a little,” it is not a text in the gift, but it has two aspects: a aspect that requires you to be given, and a aspect that requires a little bit of independence, meaning what you have been given of knowledge. Knowledge is except what you are independent of, and what you cannot bear is what We have given you, for you are what you are independent of, and this gift includes the sciences of sight, for they are sciences that the minds are independent in perceiving.
[ Innovated knowledge and its connection to an infinite amount of information ]
Our companions differed as to whether created knowledge relates to an infinite amount of information or not. Whoever prevents God’s essence from being known is prevented from that, and whoever does not prevent that does not prevent it from occurring, but What has been conveyed to us is that it happened to anyone in this world, and I do not know what it will be in the afterlife.
