Then God said, “The servant says, ‘Guide us to the straight path, the path of those upon whom You have bestowed goodness, not of those upon whom You are angry, nor of those who go astray.’ Then God says these to my servant, and to my servant what he asked.

So if the knower says, ‘Guide us,’ he brings the guiding divine name and asks him to guide him to the straight path, to make it clear.” e It is the path of the monotheists, the unification of the essence and the unification of the rank, which is divinity with its requisite legal rulings, which are the right of Islam in his saying, may the peace and blessings of God be upon him, except for the right of Islam and their reckoning with God, so He brings within Himself the straight path that the Lord is upon in terms of what He leads the one walking on it to. His Excellency, God Almighty reported on the authority of Hud that he said, “Indeed, my Lord is on a straight path. For if the knower walks on that path on which the Lo
