The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said, “It was said to him, ‘O Messenger of God, from the saints of God upon whom there is no fear nor does they grieve.’” So he said, “Those who looked at the interior of the world when people looked at its exterior and cared about the short term of the world while people cared about its immediate life and died from it what they feared would kill them.” And they left it what they knew would leave them. So no one offered it from its recipient except that they rejected it, and no one deceives them from its highness unless they put it down. The world was created for them, so they would not renew it, and their house was ruined, so they would not inhabit it, and it died in their hearts, so they would not revive it, but demolish it, so they would build their afterlife with it, and they would sell it, and they would buy with it what was left for them, and they looked at its people, dead.
