And you are the meaning of it, as if you were saying in your saying, “It is upon you yourselves,” meaning, “they are obligated and persevere with us and are kind to us.” Then you said, “He who strays will not harm you,” meaning, he is hot and destructive. When we asked for his thought, he wanted to bring us under the rule of his consideration and mind, if you are guided by what I have made known to you from me in my book and on the tongue of my Messenger, so you have come to know me by what I have described myself to you. You did not know me except through me, and you did not go astray, so my guidance and my drawing close to you were a light by which you walk on our straight path. So the habit of the people of the night continues like this with God in every verse they recite in their prayers and in every remembrance they mention to Him until dawn breaks

[ The night is for God and the day is for man ]

Muhammad ibn Abd al-Jabbar al-Nafari, who was one of the people of the night, said: The Truth stopped me in the position of knowledge, and he, may God be pleased with him, mentioned what the Truth told him In his position, among other things he said to him in that position was, O my servant, the night is for me, not for the Qur’an. The night is recited for me, not for praise and praise. God Almighty says, “Indeed, during the day there is a long glorification for you, so make the night for me as it is for me, for in the night I descend, and I will not see you in the day in your dwelling place.” The night came and I sought you and came down to you and found you sleeping in your comfort and in the world of your life, and then there was only night and day, and in the day I did not find you and I made it yours and did not come down to you in it and I handed it over to you and you made the night for me so I came down to you in it to save you.
