Degrees are given to the believers who have not been given knowledge, and knowledge of God increases

There is no sphere wider than the sphere of Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, for he has the encompassing, and it is for those whom God has designated for him from his nation by virtue of subordination. We have the encompassing of all other nations, and for that we were witnesses over the people, so God gave it to him. From the revelation of the command of the heavens, what no other was given in the horoscope of his birth, and from the command specific to the first heaven from there, not a letter or word of the Qur’an was changed. And if Satan were to introduce in his recitation something that was not a subtraction or an addition, God would have abrogated that, and this is infallibility, and from that stability is that His law was not abrogated by anything else, but rather established. Preserved and established by every observant eye, and therefore every sect cites it, and from the command specific to the second heaven from there also, he singled out [Page 145 of the Cairo edition] knowledge of the first and the last, patience, mercy, and gentleness. He was merciful to the believers, and he did not show harshness to anyone at a time except by a divine command when it was said to him. Struggle against the infidels and hypocrites and be harsh with them, so he was commanded to do so when his nature did not require that. And if he is a human being who gets angry for himself and is satisfied with himself, then he has been given our medicine for that.
