[ Natural and forced movement of the spheres ] Every orbit has a natural movement that it has along with the forced movement, so every orbit below it has two movements at the same time. Natural and forced movement, and for every natural movement in every sphere there is a specific day, after it is measured by the days that occur from the surrounding sphere, which is expressed by the saying, “What do you count?” And all of them are cut off in the surrounding sphere. Whenever you cut it off in perfection, it is a day for it, and the cycle cycles. The smallest of these days is twenty-eight days of what you count, which is the amount of cutting off movement. The moon is in the surrounding sphere, and God placed these seven planets in the heavens so that sight might perceive them. He divided their spheres in the surrounding sphere so that we might know the number of years and the reckoning. God Almighty said, “And His decree is stations so that you may know the number of years and the reckoning.” And We have explained everything in detail. That is the decree of the Mighty, the Knowing. For every planet thereof has a day. It is estimated that some are preferred over others Estimate the speed of its natural movements, or the smallness and largeness of its spheres. [ The Creation of the Pen and the Tablet ] Know that when God Almighty created the Pen and the Tablet, He called them the Mind and the Spirit, and gave the spirit two qualities. A scientific description and a practical recipe, and making the mind a teacher and useful to benefit a current view just as you benefit from the image of a cutting knife
