Know, may God help us and you with the Holy Spirit, that the Lām is from the world of testimony and power. Its origin is from the lowest edge of the tongue to the end of its tip. Its number in the twelve spheres is thirty, and in the seven spheres there are three, with three simple letters: the alif, the meem, the hamza, the fa, and the yā’. Its second sphere is a year that precedes, and is distinguished in the special, and the special in particular has its purpose. His fifth rank is his authority over animals. His nature is heat, cold, and dryness. His greatest element is fire, and the least is earth. There is something about him that is similar to his nature. His movement is straight and mixed. He has the customs mixed, perfect, single, and lonely.
