Even if I am veiled, it is a manifestation that every knower does not know except those who have knowledge of the knowledge that I have encompassed. Do you not see me appearing to them on the Resurrection in a form other than the one they know and the sign, so they deny my divinity, and from it they seek refuge, and with it they seek refuge, but they do not realize it, but they say to that sickle, we seek refuge in God from you. And here we are, waiting for our Lord. Then I will come out to them in the form that they have, and they acknowledge Me with lordship and with themselves in servitude. They are worshipers of their sign and observers of the image that has been established for them. Whoever among them says that he worships Me, his statement is false, and he has deceived me. How can that be true of him? And when I was revealed to him, he denied me. Whoever binds me to an image without an image, imagines him to be a slave. It is the possible truth in his heart that is hidden, so he imagines that he worships Me, but he denies Me. And for the knowers, it is not possible for me to hide from their sight, because they are absent from creation and from their secrets, so no other than Me appears to them, and they do not understand of the existing things except My Names, so everything appeared to them and manifested itself. They said, “You are the Most High Praise,” so they are not equal. So are the people. Between an absent person and a witness, and they both have one thing.
