And Yahya, peace be upon him, comes with a razor in his hand, lays him down, slaughters him, and calls out to the people of Paradise, eternity , so there is no death, and O people of Hell, eternity, so there is no death.
And that is the Day of Heartbreak. As for the people of Paradise, when they see death, they will be greatly pleased to see it, and they will say to him, “May God bless you for us. You have saved us from the sorrows of this world.” You were the best thing that came to us and the best gift that the truth gave us.
For the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, says: Death is the believer’s gift.
As for the people of Hell, when they see him, they will disperse from him and say to him, “You were an evil coming to us. You have settled among us.” And between the goodness and meekness we were in, then they say to him, “Maybe we will die, so we can rest from what we are in.” But it was called the Day of Regret because it is a regret for all, meaning it revealed the quality of permanent eternity for the two groups. Then the gates of Hell will be closed, never to be opened after that, and the Fire will close upon its inhabitants and enter into one another, to increase the compression of its inhabitants within it. And the bottom of it returns to the top, and the top of it to the bottom, and you see the people and devils in it like pieces of meat in a pot, when underneath it was the great fire boiling like the boiling of hot water, so it revolves around those in it, high and low. Whenever it fades, We increase them in the burning by changing the skins.
