And whoever says about atonement, it is obligatory for him to cover his position and his ruling on it is the ruling of councils in considering it equal, and whoever says about making up for it says that he is not obligated to make up for it except that he is jealous, as was the origin of the obligation, as it was in fasting Ramadan, and it is equal, so he makes up for it by returning it to the one who fasted for him, because fasting is for the servant who It is for God, just like someone who advances something from someone else. His repayment of that debt is only to return it to the one who deserves it, along with the benefit he has received from it. The servant only fasts with the intention of borrowing that because the steadfastness is not for him, and fasting is the steadfastness, so it is for God, not for him, so know that.
