The maximum number of obligatory prayers is four, and there is no bowing in funeral prayers, rather it is all standing, and every standing in it to read has a takbir, so he says takbir four times after completing the number of obligatory rak’ahs of prayer. The first takbir of the ihram in which it is forbidden to ask for forgiveness for this dead person except God Almighty and the takbir. The second is that God Almighty is glorified by the fact that He is alive and does not die if every soul will taste death and everything will perish except His face. The third is glorified by His generosity and mercy in accepting intercession for the right of those who intercede for Him or ask about Him, such as praying for the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, when he died, and it was our custom.
