We narrated in this chapter based on what our Sheikh Al-Muqri Abu Bakr Muhammad bin Khalaf bin Saf Al-Lakhmi told us on the authority of some of the righteous teachers that a young boy was reciting the Qur’an to him and saw that he was yellow in color, so he asked him about his condition, and he was told that he recited the Qur’an all night, so he said to him: Oh. My son, I was told that you recite the entire Qur’an all night long, so he said, “It is what you were told.” He said, “O my son, if it is this night, then bring me in your direction of direction and recite the Qur’an in your prayers, and do not neglect me.” The young man said, “Yes,” and when morning came, he said to him, “Did you do what I ordered you to do?” He said, “Yes, Professor.” He said, “And have you finished?” He said, “No, I have not been able to recite more than half of the Qur’an.” He said, “O my son, this is good.
