Then our companions differed regarding some of this. Each scholar said, according to what God has given him of understanding the ranks of these powers, it is according to what he sees and considers. So he began to anoint himself in this act of worship, which is humility and the removal of pride and haughtiness through humility and servitude, because in the purity of worship he seeks connection with his Lord, because the one praying is in a position. Conversing with his Lord is the required connection to purity. And the Mighty, the Chief, if he enters upon one who is in charge of that glory and leadership, he descends from his leadership and his humiliation from his glory due to the glory of the one who entered upon him, and He is his master who created him, so he stands in front of him like other slaves who have lowered their souls to seek wages, a position without a side, so this slave stood in a place. Humiliation is not in the capacity of pointing to a desiccated signifier. Who
