Page 546 - from Volume Four (Display Image)![]() He sought refuge in you, he said, while Moses, peace be upon him, was on his tour, behold, a bird was expelling a pigeon. When the pigeon saw him, he descended on his shoulder, seeking refuge with him, and the wounded bird descended on the other shoulder. When the wounded bird came down on his sleeve, the surgeon called him with an eloquent tongue, O Ibn Imran. And the pigeon called him, O Ibn Imran, I am seeking your protection, so reward me. Musa said, How quickly I have been afflicted. Then he stretched out his hand to cut off a piece of his thigh for the wounded man, to protect them and to preserve what he had entrusted with them. So he said to him, O Ibn Imran, I am the messenger of your Lord. He sent me to you to see the validity of what was entrusted to you. O listener, listening is not of benefit *** If you do not do what you are listening If you are incapable of doing good in this world, what will you be on the Day of Resurrection? Ibn al-Sammak used to say: Do not work with a guaranteed sustenance from the work that is obligatory, and be busy today with what you are responsible for tomorrow, and beware of curiosity, for its account will be long. I know and the best knowledge is the most beneficial *** that which is my sustenance will come to me I seek him, and he helps me to seek him *** and if I remain selfish, he does not attack me (A will) that includes a sign of the approaching resurrection Ali bin Abi Talib said the Messenger of God, may God s prayers and peace be upon him, was asked about the portents of the Hour. He said, If you see people who have neglected the truth, died of prayer, increased slander, made it lawful to lie, took bribes and built buildings, they used the foolish and made lawful blood, so the ignorant became to them nice, the world was weak, the ways of injustice and proud, and the mosques are more The condition The Qur an was adorned, the days were long, the hearts were ruined by religion, the liquor drank, the divorce increased, the sudden death, and the spread of immorality and the saying of falsehood, and they swear by other than God, and the traitor is trusted and betrayed the trustworthy, and they wear sheep s skins on the hearts of wolves, then the hour will come. This is a good hadith. (will) Prepare to die With a sermon in a dream, the Commander of the Faithful Al-Mansur was asleep one night, so he woke up frightened, then went back to sleep and woke up. He was terrified. Then he went back to sleep, so watch out. He said, Rabee. Spring said, I said to you, Commander of the Faithful. He said, I saw in my dream a wonder. He said, What I saw, God made me your ransom. Then he came to me and said something that I did not understand, and I ended up terrified, then I fell back asleep, and he kept saying that thing to me, then he kept saying it until I understood it and memorized it. It is as if I am in this palace whose people have perished *** and his people and his homes were stripped of it And he became the chief of the people after Bahja *** to Jadet upon which his canyons built And I did not think, O Rabee, that my death had come and my time had come, and my money besides my Lord, get up, make me a ghusl, so I did. While he was in the palace and I thanked him at the door, he said to me, Rabee, bring me coal from the kitchen and he told me to go out and stay with my mount until I get out. A person desires to live *** and to live long is what harms him He perishes for his pleasure, and he remains *** after the sweetness of living once He spends the days until he sees nothing that pleases him How much did you gloat at me if I perished *** and he said to God his life ( will ) According to Aref s confession, in the most honorable of situations, Mutref, Bakr bin Abdullah in Arafa and Al-Fudayl bin Iyad stood. Mutarrif said, Oh God, do not want them today for my sake. I will forgive him if you forgive me (Alert) On modesty from God We narrated on the authority of Sheikh Abd al-Rahman Ibn al-Ustad in the book of Ibn Bakawiya al-Shirazi on the authority of Abi al-Adyan, he said, What I saw. |
