So the sleep of the muhajjud is the fulfillment of his own eyes, and his resurrection is the fulfillment of his Lord, so what he gives him of true knowledge and manifestation in his sleep is the fruit of his resurrection, and what he gives him of activity and strength, and their manifestation and knowledge in his resurrection, is the fruit of his sleep. Likewise, all the actions of the servant are what are imposed upon him, so the knowledge of the muhajjud is intertwined like the intertwining of the hair braid, and it is one of the sciences that souls love. Where this circumference takes place, the secrets of the highest and lowest worlds and the names that indicate actions and exaltation are revealed, which is the Almighty’s saying, “and the leg is turned around with the leg,” meaning the matter of this world has come together with the matter of the Hereafter, and there is nothing but this world and the hereafter, and it is the praised station that is produced by Tahajjud. God Al
