What is theirs, and that it is in their money, not from their money, so it is not theirs except by taking it out, so if they distinguish it then they know that it was not from their money, but rather it was included in their money. This is the investigation. They believed that everything in their hands was their money and belonged to them. When God told people that In their money there is a right that they fulfill, and there is no apparent reason for the soul to rely on it, neither from debt nor from sale, except what God Almighty mentioned about saving that for him as a reward for the afterlife. This is difficult for souls to share in the money .

And when God knew this from them in the formation of their souls, He took that amount of money out of their hands. Rather, He took all the money out of their hands. Then God Almighty said, “And spend of that in which He has made you independent.” That is, this money is yours of it, except what you spend of it, which is disposing of it as a form of stewards, and money belongs to God, and you are not miserly. With it, you are stingy with what you do not possess, because you are successors in it, and what you have of it is trustworthy. So warn them that they are left behind in it, in order to make it easy for them to give alms out of mercy for them. God says, “Just as we commanded you to spend from the wealth that you are appointed successors in, we commanded our Messenger and our deputies among you to take from this wealth that we have in your hands a known amount.” We called it zakat, the good of which is returned to you. So do not dispose of our deputies in what is yours. Rather,

I have informed you that zakat, insofar as it is, is a strict charity for the soul. If a person gives charity, the reward is doubled for him, for he has the reward of hardship and the reward of giving it out, and if he gives it without hardship, then this is more than the reward is doubled beyond measure and limitless, as stated in the one who is skilled in the Qur’an that he is attached to the angels. The honorable traveler, and the one for whom the Qur’an is recited, the reward will be doubled for him due to the hardship he endures in acquiring and studying it. He will have the reward of hardship and the reward of recitation.

Zakat means purification and sanctification. When God removed from its giver the name of miserliness and miserliness, there is no ruling on miserliness and stinginess in it, and because of the growth and blessing in zakat, it was called zakat because God nurtures it, as He said, and He nurtures alms, so they are pure. So it was given this name because of its meaning, so in zakat there is blessing in money. Purity of the soul and firmness in the religion of God, and whoever is given these qualities has been given much good.

As for his saying about it, “If you lend him a good loan, then good deeds are that you bear witness to God about it, for it is part of ihsan.” This is how the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, explained ihsan when Gabriel, peace be upon him, asked him about it. This is if you know that money is God’s money, and that he owns it by God’s ownership, and after ownership, it was revealed. In his kindness to you at the door of lending, he says to you: Do not ignore my request from you for a loan on this money, so that you know that this money is the same as my money and what is yours. Just as it is not difficult for you if you see someone disposing of his money as he wishes, so it is not difficult for you or difficult to do anything. I ask you for what I have appointed you as a successor to, because you know that I have only asked you for what I have entrusted you with, to give to whomever of My servants I wish. For this amount of zakat I have never given you, r

Ihsan is to worship God as if you see Him, because when you see Him, you know that the money is His money and the servant is His servant, and the disposition is His and that He is not compelled by Him, and you know that if you do these things, no benefit will come to God from them, and if you do not do them, He will not be harmed by that, and that everything will come back to you, so stick to what is best for you. Be kind to yourself, and if you are a doer of good, you fear the harm of your own stinginess, then this action brings together goodness and piety for you, and God will be with you. For God is with those who fear me and those who are doers of good. And among the righteous is he who protects his own stinginess by paying his zakat, and among the doers of goodness is he who worships me as if he sees me and bears witness to me, and among his witnesses is the knowledge that I am I do not charge him to dispose of anything except what is mine, and it will benefit him as a blessi

And know that God imposed zakat on the wealth, meaning he deducted it from it, and said to the owner of the wealth: This amount of money that you determined by the obligation is not yours, but rather you are responsible for it. Zakat is not owned by the owner of the wealth. Then God Almighty placed our souls in the position of wealth among us in ruling, so He placed zakat in it. He also placed it in wealth. Just as He commanded us to pay zakat on wealth, He said to us regarding souls. He who purifies them has succeeded, just as he has succeeded who has purified his wealth. He also attached it to wealth in buying and selling. He said, “Indeed, God bought from the believers their souls and their wealth, so He made buying and selling among souls and wealth. In this verse, He also made zakat a matter of jurisprudence.” Concerning money and souls, the zakat on money is known, as we will mention it in detail in this section, God willing.
