Ali bin Abi Talib said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, was asked about the signs of the Hour. He said: If you see people who have neglected the truth, neglected prayer, increased slander, made lying lawful, took bribes, built buildings, exalted the owners of money, employed fools, and made blood permissible. So the ignorant among them became beautiful, the world weak, injustice proud, the mosques roads, the police increased, the Qur’an was bent, the passages were long, the hearts were ruined by religion, the drinking of alcohol, divorces increased, sudden death, immorality became widespread, slanderous speech, they swore by other than God, and the traitor was entrusted and the trustworthy betrayed, and they put on sheep skins over the hearts of wolves, so then the Hour of Judgment will come. This is a good hadith.
