Muslim narrated in his Sahih on the authority of Kurayb that Umm al-Fadl bint al-Harith sent him to Muawiyah in the Levant. He said, “So I came to the Levant and fulfilled her need. Then I came to Medina at the end of the month, so Abdullah bin Abbas asked me, then he mentioned the crescent.” He said, “When did you see the crescent?” I said, “We saw it on Friday night.” He said, “You saw it,” so I said, “Yes,” and the people saw it and fasted, and Muawiyah fasted. He said, “But we saw it on Saturday night. So we will continue to fast until we complete thirty days or we see it.” So I said, “Are you not satisfied with Muawiyah’s sighting and fasting ?” He said, “No.” This is how the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, commanded us. p>

So when the crescent of knowledge rises in your heart from the divine name Ramadan, then in that rising he called you to adhere to what is for him, which is fasting, so he commanded you to restrain all your visible limbs and restrain your inner powers, he commanded you to pray the night prayer, and your desire for it, which is to preserve his unseen, and he made you break the fast in it at the beginning of the night and your command. By hastening it and having food at the end, and ordering you to delay that until the delay is in the position of someone who says it is daytime, except that the sun has not risen, and that is due to the wisdom of verifying the other name on the night of Ramadan, as you were on its day, for you are between two extremes of permissibility and prohibition .

The Truth did not address you except through you, and it did not address you except through you, and so it is with every accountable person in the world, whether a king, a jinn, or a human being, and even with every created being.
