Standing for rain when supplicating is appropriate for the Truth to take care of His servants in what they need, for it is a request for sustenance through the rain that their souls have longed for, and they rejoice in the words of God: Men are in charge of women, and all souls are in the position of femininity for those who have reason, for every passive person is in the rank of the female, and so on. Except for the passive, and the verb is divided according to the truth between the active and the passive. From the active is power and from the passive is acceptance of power in it. Here is a secret that includes: I respond to the call of the supplicant when he calls upon me, so let them respond to me. For the one at whose hands God places sustenance depends on whoever is provided because of him. So he began standing in supplication for rain as if he was saying the state of his standing in my hands. Lord, grant us what we do for our children with the rain You send down upon us,

Supplication is the brain of worship, and with the brain is the strength of the organs. Likewise, supplication is the brain of worship through which the worship of the worshipers is strengthened, for it is the spirit of worship.
