No, Lord. He says, You have an excuse. He says, No, Lord. He says, Yes, you have a good deed with me, for there is no injustice against you today. So he brings out a card in which I bear witness that there is no god but God, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger. He says, Bring your weight. He says, Lord, what is this card with these records? So he says, “You are not unjust.” He said, “Then records are placed on a palm and the card is in a palm, so the records are broken and the card is heavy, so nothing is heavy with the name of God.

And the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said, ‘They stand, meaning the angels, in front of God, and bear witness,’ meaning, to the servant of sincere, righteous deeds.” To God, God says to them: You are the guardians of my servant’s work and I am the watcher of what is in his heart. He did not intend me to do this work and wanted someone else to do it, so my curse is upon him.

The Mess

Considering one of the righteous people, I was informed that Omar bin Abdul Aziz held a funeral. When they left, Omar and his companions were late for the funeral, and some of his companions said to him, “O Commander of the Faithful, there is a funeral for which you are late, and he left it.” He said, “Yes, the grave called me from behind me, O Omar bin Abdul Aziz.” Don’t ask me what I did with my loved ones. I said, “Yes.” He said, “I burned the shrouds, tore the bodies, and sucked the blood and ate the flesh.” He said, “Don’t ask me what I did with the limbs.” I said, “Yes.” He said, “I removed the palms from the arms, and the arms from the upper arms, and the upper arms from the shoulders, and the hips and thighs, and the thighs from the knees, and the knees from the legs, and the legs from the feet.” Then he cried. Omar then said: Indeed, the lifespan of this world is short, its dear is lowly, its rich is poor, its young is old, and its life is dying, so do not be deceived
