Know that the Muhammadan leaders are of two types: the poles after his mission and the poles before his mission. The poles who were before his mission are the messengers, and they are three hundred and thirteen messengers. As for the poles from his nation who were after his mission until the Day of Resurrection, they are twelve poles, and the two seals are outside of these poles, so they are from the isolated ones. As for the positions of the Muhammadan leaders who are the Messengers, may God’s prayers be upon them all, there is no way for us to speak about their positions, for our speech is based on taste, and we have no taste in the positions of the Messengers, peace be upon him. Rather, our tastes are specifically in inheritance. No one speaks about the Messengers except a Messenger, and about the Prophets only a Prophet or A messenger, and there is no inheritor except a messenger, a prophet, a guardian, or someone from among them. This is divine etiquette, so the ranks of the messengers are not known except from the general seal .
