In which they lose consciousness, such as those who are tormented in this world, and they faint from the intensity of anxiety and excessive pain, and they remain like this for nineteen thousand years, then they wake up from their trance, and God has replaced their skins with other skins, and they are tortured for fifteen thousand years, then they faint, and they remain in their trance for eleven. A thousand years, then they wake up, and God has changed their skins into other skins so that they may taste the torment and find the painful torment. Seven thousand years, then they will faint for three thousand years, then they will wake up, and God will grant them pleasure and comfort like one who sleeps tired and wakes up. This is from His mercy that preceded His wrath and encompasses everything, so it has a ruling. Then the rule of perpetuity comes from the vast name with which He encompasses all things, mercy and knowledge, so they do not find pain and it lasts for them, and they take advantage of it and say, “We have forgotten,” so we do not ask, being careful to remember with our souls, and God has said to us, “Be lost in it and do not speak.” So they remain silent and are in confusion therein, and nothing remains of torment for them except fear. If the torment returns to them, this amount of torment is what is eternal for them
