The intercession of an intercessor will not benefit him [ Al-Mahshar and his fifteen positions ] Then they will be gathered to take their books with their faith and their deeds. Then they will be imprisoned in fifteen stops, each stop for a thousand years. In the first stop, they will be asked about alms and what God has imposed on them in their wealth. Whoever pays them in full may go to the second stop and be asked about telling the truth and forgiving people. Whoever forgives, God will pardon him, and he may go to the third stop and be asked about... Enjoining good. If he is enjoining good, he may go to the fourth position and be asked about forbidding evil. If he is forbidding evil, he may be asked about good character. If he is good in character, he may be asked about the sixth position and be asked about love for the sake of God and hatred for the sake of God. If he is a lover for the sake of God, he hates. For God's sake, it is permissible to go to the seventh position and be asked about forbidden money. If he did not take anything, it is permissible to go to the eighth position and be asked about drinking alcohol. If he did not drink any alcohol, it is permissible to go to the ninth position and be asked about forbidden sexual intercourse. If he did not have it, he is permissible to the tenth position and be asked about false speech. If he did not say it, then he may go to the eleventh position and be asked about false faith. If he did not swear it, then he may go to the twelfth position and be asked about eating.
