Whenever a heresy emerges in the field of debate, an Ashari or someone who possesses the science of theorizing will emerge, and they do not limit themselves to the sword out of their desire and eagerness to return anyone to faith and regularity in the path of the nation of Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, with proof, since he who used to do the miraculous thing was truthful. His claim has been lost, and he is the Messenger, peace be upon him. Proof, according to them, takes the place of that miracle against those who knew it. The one who resorts to proof is more sound in Islam than the one who resorts to the sword, for fear can lead him to hypocrisy, but the one who gives proof is not like that. For this reason, may God be pleased with them, they established the knowledge of essence and accident and nothing else, and one of it is sufficient in Egypt. If a person believes in the Qur’an that it is the word of God, conclusive by it, then he should take his belief from it without interpretation or inclination. God Almighty Himself has forbidden that any of the creatures resemble it or resemble something with God Almighty saying, “It is not like it.” Nothing, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Seeing. Glory be to your Lord, Lord of glory, above what they describe. He confirmed his vision in the Hereafter with the apparent meaning of his saying, “Faces that Day will be radiant to their Lord, looking on, and no, they will be withheld from their Lord that Day.” His saying, “And He is upon”
