If it accepts strength, it accepts it from its origin, which is the Merciful soul expressed by the spirit from which it is blown, added to God. It is susceptible to strength just as it is susceptible to weakness, and both of them are by virtue of the origin, and it is to the body. It is closer because it created a covenant with Him, so its weakness prevailed over its strength. If it was stripped of matter, its original strength, which it possesses from the divine breath, would appear.
