Your entry into it, because I legislated it for you, I am rewarded with it, as if he is saying, and I am his reward, because the characteristic of abstaining from food and drink requires me, and you have been possessed by it, and what is your truth and what is yours, and you are characterized by it in the case of your fasting, it brings you into me, for patience is the imprisonment of the soul, and I have imprisoned it by my command from what gives it its true nature of food and drink. So
He said to the fasting person there are two joys: joy when he breaks his fast, and that joy is for his animal spirit and nothing else, and joy when he meets his Lord
And that joy is for his speaking soul, that is, his divine kindness, so fasting bequeathed to him the meeting with God, which is witnessing

So fasting was more complete than prayer because it produced an encounter with God and a witness to Him, and prayer is a monologue to a spectacle, and the veil accompanies it. God says, “And it is not for a human being that God should speak to him except by revelation or from behind a veil. Likewise, God spoke to Moses, and that is why he asked for a vision, so he linked speech with a veil and a conversation with a call.
God says, “I divided the prayer between me and my servant into two halves, half for me and half for my servant, and my servant shall have whatever he asks .” /p>
The servant says, “Praise be to God, Lord of the worlds.” He says, “God, my servant has praised me.” Fasting is not divided, so it is God’s, not the servant’s reward insofar as it is God’s, and here is an honorable secret. So they said, “Viewing and communicating with each other do not go together, for watching is for confusion and speaking is for understanding.
