A mirror except by vision, so if the Truth establishes you in absolute servitude that does not contain divinity, then you are truly His successor, for there is no ruling for the successor in matters in which a caliph appoints a successor to him in a single sentence, so he appoints him as his successor in servitude, and there is no chance for divinity in it, because the caliph has gained autonomous independence in it, so he is in the hand of God and in the kingdom of God. God Almighty said: Glory be to Him who took His servant on a journey, so He made a pure slave, and deprived him of everything, even the journey of journeying, so He made him journey with Him, and He did not add the secret to it. For if he had said, Glory be to Him whose servant was called to journey to Him or to see His signs, then he was pleased, he would have been able to say, but the position prevented that. So He made him obligated, and he has no share of lordship in any of the actions .
