Know that this chapter is what God has revealed to His servants, and He is the Most Merciful. For truthful information, if it is not a ruling, cannot be abrogated, and the promise and threat have been mentioned by means of the report, so the Most Merciful’s soul came with the confirmation of the promise and its influence and the cessation of the influence of the threat against one person by another, and that is because the Sharia was revealed. In the tongue of the people of the Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, he addressed them according to what they had agreed upon. Among the things they had agreed upon in the right of what was described as generosity and perfection was the fulfillment of the promise and the removal of the rule of the threat. The people of the tongue said about that in the way of praise.
