From the soul of the Most Merciful is His saying: God, there is no god but Him, and in God, let the believers put their trust. This is the unification of calamities and the return of them to God, so that their pain will be removed from him, when he sees that what he has been afflicted with has happened at the hand of the one who preserves his existence, and for this reason God praised the one who says, “If A calamity has befallen him. Indeed, to Allah we belong, and to Him we shall return. They belong to Allah in their condition, and to Him we will return when the situation departs. So whoever preserves his existence and preserves what is gone from him, and what happened was trustworthy to him until its time, then he was not afflicted or harmed.
