For there is nothing in the universe that does not contain harm and benefit, so with this divine attribute He attracted the souls of those in need of Him due to their lack of benefit and repelled harm. This led them to worship things, even if they did not realize it, but the necessity of them disbelieves them in that, for man lacks the most base and incomplete things in existence. It is a place of solitude when he is in need. He abandons the worship of his Lord. Rather, it is not permissible for him according to Sharia to perform it while he is feeling distressed, so he hastens to solitude, especially if the need for it is excessive and compels him to the point that his mind is deprived of what he believes when he finds a way to it. If he reaches it, he finds comfort with it and throws into it what was worrying him, so if he finds comfort. He left Him as if He had never needed Him, and disbelieved in His grace, and made Him filthy and disparaged, and this is disbelief in grace and
