The servant with the truth in his state of servitude is like the shadow with the person facing the lamp. The closer he is to the lamp, the greater the shadow. There is no closeness to God except by what is a more specific description for you and not His. And the farther away from the lamp the smaller the shadow. For nothing takes you away from the truth except your departure from your description that you deserve. And your greed for His attribute is thus God’s mark on every arrogant and tyrannical heart.
