Know, may God support you with the Holy Spirit, that voluntary deeds have a universal ruling in the Divine Presence, in which their performer is represented by a source of truth. Whoever tastes them knows his worth and is unable to give thanks to the Giver for which he deserves. Then, voluntary deeds are differentiated and exalted by the height of their obligatory duties, since voluntary deeds are every action that has a basis in the obligatory duties from that origin. It is generated and in its form it appears as we appeared in the form of the truth, for we are voluntary for it and it is our origin. That is why we say about it that it is necessary to exist for itself and we are obligated by it and not for ourselves. In this degree it is distinguished from us and we are distinguished from it.
