And since God’s law and His ruling regarding the movements of a responsible person can only be taken from the Qur’an, likewise it is not found except by the one who speaks it, which is God Almighty, and He said to the thing, “Be,” and it was, so the Qur’an is the strongest evidence upon which it is based, or what was authenticated on the authority of the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, who established the evidence. Based on his truthfulness, he informs about God all that He has legislated regarding the slaves of God, and that information may be either by consensus from the Companions, which is the consensus, or from some of them by transmitting justice from justice, and it is the news of one person, and by whatever path it reached us, we are devoted to acting according to it, without disagreement among the scholars of Islam, and for this reason the people of fundamentals say in Consensus is that it must be based on a text, even if it is not spoken
