The answer is spiritual, and that is that kingship is only characterized by inanimate objects, especially since they are the most obedient of creation to God, Glory be to Him, who acknowledges that He belongs to God, Glory be to Him, although everything other than God belongs to God, but the virtue of kingship is to know that He is king and that His treatment with God is the same as one who belongs to God, and that is only for the dominant angels and inanimate objects. As for plants, not every plant is characterized by this, for some of them do not come out except in distress, but among the rest of the creatures are some who have fulfilled the right of being a king, and among them are those who have not done so in every type, and this is how they are described by the truth. Glory be to Him, and He said, “And to God prostrates whoever is in the heavens and the earth, willingly or by compulsion.”
