And know that the home of relatives gives them connection of their lives with the afterlife, so they are not overtaken by the shock that overtakes the souls, but rather they are among those whom God Almighty made an exception in His saying, “And the trumpet is blown, so whoever is in the heavens and whoever is on earth is struck with shock, except those whom God wills,” and this home is the most special and highest of the homes with God and the people in it. On three levels, some of them attain it in its entirety, and they are the Messengers, may God’s prayers be upon them, and they are in it in degrees, preferring one another, and among them are those who attain the second degree from it, and they are the prophets, may God’s prayers be upon them, who were not sent but worshiped according to a law assigned to them. So whoever follows them is, and whoever does not follow them, God has not made it obligatory for any of their followers. In it, they are in degrees that prefer each oth
