And know that the one who is purified on this path from among the loyal servants of God is the one who is purified of every attribute that prevents him from entering upon his Lord. This is why he began to pray purity, because prayer is an entry into the Lord to commune with Him, and the attributes that prevent the servant from entering upon his Lord are every divine attribute. It is only for God, and every attribute that brings him to his Lord and brings about purification for this servant, for they are his attributes that only the servant deserves and should not be for anyone but him, even if the truth were to attribute to him all the attributes that are not appropriate for anyone but him and must be attributed to him, his essence will not depart from where the Lord is revealed to him.
