Among them, may God be pleased with them, is one person whose fluctuations are repeated in every soul. He does not falter between his knowledge of his Lord and his knowledge of the essence of his Lord. You will hardly see him in one of the two positions except that you see him in the other. You will not see in men a more pleasant state than him, and none of the people who have knowledge of God has greater knowledge than the owner of this. The one who resides fears God and fears Him. I verified it and saw it, and his verse from the Book of God benefited me. There is nothing like Him, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Seeing. And His saying, “Then We return the ball to you against them,” and his jaws still trembled out of fear of God. This is how we witnessed it .
