The scholars agreed that sa’i is only performed after circumambulating the Kaaba, and that whoever sa’i before circumambulating the House should return and circumambulate, even if he departs from Mecca. If he did not know about that until he joined women during Umrah or Hajj, he is obligated to perform Hajj al-Qabil and sacrifice or another Umrah, and some of them said that he does not have to do anything. Some of them said that if he left Mecca, he does not have to return with blood on him, and I say so .
