In the obligatory duties, there is an answer to God, and in the Sunnahs there is an answer to the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him. God says, “O you who have believed, respond to God and to the Messenger when he calls you.” For the Messenger calls upon God’s command, so God is the one who responds. He, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, admonished that worshiper whom the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, called upon. Upon him, peace be upon him, when he did not answer him when he called him while the one being called was in prayer, so he said, O Messenger of God, I was in prayer, so the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said to him, but I did not hear the words of God Almighty: Respond to God and to the Messenger when he calls you, and the Talbiyah is an answer.
