So he meant “we” on behalf of himself and his nation, so we were more worthy of Moses than you. The Jews because they did not believe in everything that Moses brought, and if they had believed in everything that Moses brought, they would have believed in Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, and in his book, and we were commanded to believe in it and in what was revealed to him.
