When the forgetful person did not remember this state while he was in his soul oblivious to it, the Truth spoke to him, reminding him of it in the Qur’an which you worship by reciting it so that they may contemplate its verses and so that those of understanding may remember what they had forgotten. This indicates that they had advanced knowledge of the matter of standing firm and taking the covenant.
