It is the month of Ramadan, so whether the human fasting person intends it or not, the ruling is fasting, so the intention is not a condition for the validity of his fast. If it is not obligatory for him and the good of it is considered, like the sick person and the traveler, then their ruling is between two matters based on the choice, so it cannot be changed to one of the two matters except with the intention of it, which is the intention.
