Presentation of the hadith about the cause of the dispute

Muslim narrated on the authority of Ibn Umar that the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, mentioned Ramadan, so he struck his hand and said, “The month is like this and like this,” then he held his thumb for the third time. Fast when you see it and break your fast when you see it, and if you faint. It is upon you, so estimate thirty.

It was also reported from the hadith of Ibn Umar that he said, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, “We are an illiterate nation. We do not write or count the month like this and so and so and so,” and crossing the thumb and the month like this and so and so and so means complete thirty.

p> This second hadith removes the problem, and the hadith “Ask those who impose it on restrictions” begins with fasting Ramadan from the day of doubt, and whoever imposes it on estimation is ruled to be moderate, and I say so .
