As for his saying, “Do not fear anyone except God, it is the greatest fear, for He is the one in power, and in His hand is the kingdom of all things.” So where is the safety? This is a warning to our minds. The person who is in such a situation is safe in his world, his money, and himself from those who harm him, and this is the intention of the Messenger of God. May God’s prayers and peace be upon him, and God is the one who gave him security in that situation, so he fears God for what is in his unseen, what he does not know and whose time he does not know, and if this fearful person were to fear God at all, his fear would be linked to his religion, for Satan’s path to his heart is not as safe as the clear path through which the traveler passes. Of the people, and if he fears God, his fear distracts him from his money and his life, and if the path were not safe, then this fearful person would be safe, for no thought comes to him except about his religion, which he fears will be r
